Um so how is it only 1 week till Christmas Day?! Seriously life needs to slow down because I swear last Christmas only felt like yesterday.
But here we are again, plummeting full speed ahead into 2017 and quite frankly I’m not sure I’m ready. There’s some big changes happening for us next year and at times I feel like I’m riding some emotional rollercoaster, feeling all the feels and highs and lows of what 2017 will hold.
Have no fear, I’m not about to get all deep on you, I will save the 2017 plans for another post when I’m a bit more certain of what’s going on. I know, I know, the suspense is killing me too.
So, 6 sleeps to go! How many people have asked you whether you’re ready for Christmas in the last two weeks? It seems to be all we talk about. LOL. I feel like I haven’t had to do much preparation at all to be honest. I made a conscious and quite public decision to not over spend this year on things that people don’t really need for a holiday half of us don’t even believe in. That caused a great big debate on facebook and an email from a rather unhappy man I call my father but hey, I got what I wanted, he took me out for a Christmas lunch and everyone lived happily ever after.
I’ve done my Christmas shopping and all I have to think about now is what dessert to take to Rich’s family on Christmas Day because that is our department this year. Desserts. Someone asked me what I’m making and I literally laughed out loud. Do I look like the kind of person who makes desserts? Or anything for that matter. No, I’m relying on a shop bought pudding to save all parties involved who will be eating it. I may even pull out all the stops and go to Marks and Sparks, you know, really treat them. It is Christmas after all.
Anyway, it’s probably a bit late for this post to be honest but I just wanted to share with you a little present I bought myself this week as I think it would make a really good stocking filler. It came super quick too so sure if you ordered today you get it in time! If not then that kinda sucks and I’m sorry for being late with sharing the news.
I came across Case Company on another blog and somehow convinced myself that yes, I really do need a new phone case. So I designed this little cutie from the comfort of my bed whilst drinking my coffee one morning last week. And it arrived a few days later in a little fabric bag.
Of course I’m biased because Sid’s face is my favourite thing in the world but doesn’t it look good? To be honest, I didn’t really know what to put on the case and after what seemed like forever, I decided my dog was the only logical answer. And for a teeny tiny fee of £14.95 who can argue? I mean, you could put a cool quote on there or even maybe a family portrait or whatever images are on your phone that you think would look good. Keep it clean guys, nobody likes a weirdo. LOL.
They also also have loads of pre-made designs too so if you’re not feeling particularly creative or you take the worst iPhone pics in the world, this may be the best option for you. Enjoy!
