Oh hey there you guys, it’s me, the one who promised you weekly links but only managed one post which went live about 310485 days ago. I know, I know, I’m disappointed in me too but you know what? Life gets in the way sometimes and I just have to accept that I will always be one of those bloggers who wants to do it all but actually ends up going MIA for weeks on end.
Anyway, here are some things I’ve found interesting on the internet this week. Also, the above picture? I took with my new camera. Just sayin.
‘One day, you’re just a kid on your bike. The next, you’re suddenly having to wedge a tiny Barbie mattress in your knickers, crying while you watch Bergerac, and eating Nurofen Plus like they’re Tic Tacs.’ This article about women is awesome. Especially the period part.
I’ve touched on this subject before but this article about social media and narcissism is on point and is well worth a read.
Is positive thinking really the way forward for people with personalities similar to mine? It seems maybe not.
Buying a house has been one of the most stressful things I have done to date and I swear I’ve been through all the emotions so this post really resonated with me. It also made me want to pull out of buying a house altogether… *insert face palm emoji*.
Generation Y: the crazy things we all do. We’re a funny bunch, even my little brother who is Generation Z can’t understand my obsession with instagramming my avocado in the morning.
This article goes hand in hand with the post I’m yet to write about minimalism and choosing to have less in your life. Makes perfect sense to me even though we are currently buying a bigger house. LOL.
Whilst I agree with what the writer is saying in this post, I still really like the phrase GirlBoss and ain’t nobody changing my mind. Soz.
We finished watching The People v. O J Simpson and it left me feeling all the feels and wanting to know more. Also, I now know why the Kardashians are actually famous!
Both rich and I got into the bed afterwards and swiftly starting google-ling the shit out of the story because we couldn’t believe the ending. (Well I couldn’t, he already knew the story.) If you are yet to watch it, go now, go right now! It’s currently on Netflix for those of you who are interested.
I’m dreaming of a new sofa for the house we are yet to secure and it looks something like this. I cannot wait to sit here with a cup of coffee whilst blogging and editing shoots.
I really want a gingham smock dress like this one from ASOS because they keep popping up on my social media feed and also the weather we have been having lately is showing me I have nothing to wear for Summer!
Thanks for reading guys! I need to get my butt outta bed, go make another coffee and get ready for the next 4 days of no work! Happy Easter everyone!
