Happy Friday lovelies! I thought I’d attempt to start a weekly links post which I’ll aim to get out each Friday (she says). This will just be links to things I’ve seen over the last 7 days on the old interweb, things I’m reading, eating, buying, wishing I could buy… you know the drill. So let’s get cracking!
People seemed to go a bit crazy for one of my old posts this week and I’m still not entirely sure how or why but I’m extremely happy about it nonetheless! My stats have reached an all time high and it’s making me wonder if Sid needs his own blog?
This post from one of my favorite bloggers about not dressing to look thinner appeared in my inbox this week. Hannah had a pretty bitchy comment posted on her instagram when she chose to wear an outfit that made her feel ‘more like herself than she has in ages’ and so she spoke out about it. Seriously guys, I literally live in my gym clothes whether they are flattering or not. I’m all about being comfy in life! Dress to make YOU feel good.
I’m loving everything about the way Cassie writes. I read all her stuff and I’m captivated by her short stories. It takes me hours, if not days to write certain blog posts yet Cassie wrote this particular piece in one evening. Wtf?! Also, I helped shoot her wedding. Just throwing that out there for when she becomes famous off her first novel.
I’ve been waiting for these workout leggings to come back into stock for weeks now! But then I got impatient and ended up buying not one, but two pairs from TK Maxx. See, look what you made me do Gymshark!
I’m dreaming of warmer days so I can wear this dress I bought a few weeks ago and was meant to take back but somehow it’s ended up in my wardrobe… oops. It’s really not the kind of thing I thought I’d ever wear but I’m sticking with it.
You may have seen on my Instagram that I wore a new pink top out last week and I think I’m going to wear it again this weekend because why the hell not? I can’t see it on their website anymore but this one is similar and also they have the one I bought but with long sleeves.
I’ve been lost this week because I finished The Girl On The Train and basically I’ve had nothing else to read. So I’ve been keeping up to date with other bloggers that I love. This post by Rosie is so beautifully written and it reminds me so much of when I had to move back home with my parents after a relationship breakdown.
I’ve been working out hard over the last few weeks and following this booty workout from Jade Joselyn, a fitness YouTuber I follow for inspiration. My glutes are on fire afterwards!
This week we watched Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things, and it resonated with me more than anything ever has. You can read my thoughts on this in next weeks blog post.
Seeing Ariana Grande and John legend collaborate on Beauty & The Beast made me all excited to go see the film! I just need to convince Rich to come with me…
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
